K-Tron Pneumatic Conveying Systems (K-Tron PCS) Now Offers Dense Phase As Well As Dilute Phase Vacuum Conveying Solutions
Pitman, NJ (February 3, 2006) — K-Tron Pneumatic Conveying Systems (K-Tron PCS) now offers dense phase vacuum conveying for short distances, in addition to dilute phase vacuum conveying capabilities.The K-Tron P-series models, designed for conveying powders and tough to handle materials, offer this dense phase option, expanding the product line’s ability to handle products requiring gentler handling.
The K-Tron P-series vacuum receivers feature sanitary design and meet the 3-A Sanitary Standard for Pneumatic Conveyors. The receivers are designed to convey delicate materials such as tablets and capsules as well as free flowing to poorly flowing powders.
Three models of P-Series vacuum conveyors include the P10 conveying up to 1320 lb/hr (600 kg/hr), the P30 conveying up to 3960 lb/hr (1800 kg/hr) and the P100 for up to 8800 lb/hr. (4000 kg/hr). The K-Tron P-series can be used for simple “up and in” systems or engineered for larger, central continuous conveying systems.
